Rights of Way in Enfield

In addition to its urban network of footpaths, a third of the Borough is in the Green Belt. This area did have a good rights of way network, which has been extended with permissive paths and new rights of way. However it is often in a poor state of repair, see Rights of Way Changes.  The Enfield Society is involved in protecting and developing the rights of way, and the Friends of Enfield Chase do environmental work, see Links.
