REVIEW

The Hertfordshire & North London Walks Fest took place this year in Knebworth on Saturday 11 October, organised by Ramblers Hertfordshire & North Middlesex Area. The startimg and finishing poiint for the walks was the Village Hall at Knebworth.

Saturday wasn't a great day for photos, but the cool, dry weather made for easy walking. Six group walks were volunteered by leaders from Ramblers Groups across our Area, ranging from a 12.5-mile hike to a 5-mile afternoon walk. Cream teas in the village hall were a pleasant end to a good day, all beautifully organised.

Thank you to all the Groups and members who helped to promote the festival, volunteered to lead walks or helped with catering, setting up and taking down at the event.
